Now in my 30th year of education, I have presented and attended numerous conferences and ISTE really is my favorite. In my “years of experience” and from attending and presenting at conferences across the country on STEM tools, ed tech, Digital Citizenship, Robotics, AI, video creation, Latin, Catholic faith in education, Modern Language, ancient coins… I have seen and learned a lot and this year’s ISTE was the ZEE best! I am hoping these posts will encourage others to attend conferences and have similar experiences.

I am still processing all of the fun and learning at ISTE this year. It was an outstanding event. I am sharing “ZEE Best of ISTE” shoutouts in my upcoming posts.

First up is ZEE BEST COMMUNITY EXPERIENCE in an Exhibit Hall Booth…and the winner is Wayground (formerly Quizizz) You had it all. Your ambassadors leading the learning and answering questions with their cool PINK shades, hourly pinata smashing, a spin to win Wheel of prizes, Wayground pinata mascot posing for pictures, and Kyle Niemis in his “pink magnet” jacket to draw teachers’ attention and bring the energy of this truly amazing learning tool to the expo hall. You kept it lively and fun. Loved hanging out with Dr. Rachelle Dené Poth Erika Sandstrom Michael Wesely Larisa Black and all the other Ambassadors.
